Penn State Brandywine, about 20 miles west of Philadelphia, is a commuter campus with convenient public transportation access. The campus includes classrooms, administrative and faculty offices, computer labs, and other areas throughout its major buildings: Main Building, the Classroom Building, the Commons/Athletic Center, and the John D. Vairo Library.
The campus serves a diverse population of students, both traditional and adult, who are from Pennsylvania, the United States, and other countries. Students can participate in sports teams for varsity, intramural, and club sports. Extracurricular clubs and organizations are available to serve the interests of students. The campus also has strong ties with the surrounding communities.
Penn State Brandywine offers baccalaureate and associate degree programs, as well as the first two years of more than 160 Penn State baccalaureate programs. Students can begin their education at Penn State Brandywine and move on to the University Park campus or other appropriate Penn State campus in order to complete their degree.
