CSA 297 Special Topics (1-9) Formal courses given infrequently to explore, in depth, a comparatively narrow subject that may be topical or of special interest.

CSA 297A UBUNTU Intergroup Dialogue (3) This course provides structured, sustained, and facilitated face-to-face meetings for undergraduate students from different and often conflicted social identity groups. UBUNTU groups actively support advocacy and social justice efforts of the College Student Affairs program.

CSA 397A UBUNTU Facilitator (3) UBUNTU facilitator teams meet prior to each session to review curriculum and plan accordingly. Facilitators must have successfully passed a facilitator training program prior to the course to deliver the curriculum for CSA 297. Will participate in weekly meetings to support other facilitators and to continue to develop facilitator skills.

CSA 497A Ubuntu Skill Fac (3) Current CSA master degree candidates design the CSA 297A curriculum and assist course facilitators in CSA 397A deliver the course materials. The students coordinate/facilitate all course meetings and are responsible for all course logistics. The primary focus of this course is to provide students with a variety of perspectives regarding issues related to social justice/diversity in American higher education.
