BUSAD 527 Fixed Income Securities (3)

BUSAD 527 focuses on the various fixed income securities including bonds (treasury, corporate, municipal bonds), mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, interest rate derivatives, and credit risks. Valuation and risk management of fixed income securities will be discussed using market data on securities. Fixed income is technically demanding subject and the course will use relatively advanced techniques and concepts. Basic statistics and spreadsheet modeling will be sued extensively throughout the course. The students will gain a working knowledge in fixed income securities.
