M.S.N.--Additional Specific Requirements

The Master of Science in Nursing requires a minimum of 30 credits, with at least 12 credits at the 500 level, including 9 credits of Master’s Program Core courses, 18 credits of electives, and 3 credits in the Capstone Course, NURS 513. Students in M.S.N. degree program are required to complete a capstone project, which demonstrates the application of theory and research to a clinical problem based on review of literature and research utilization for that problem. The capstone project is completed while enrolled in NURS 513.
