(The Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in Administration of Justice are offered by the program in Crime, Law, and Justice in the Department of Sociology.)
The Bachelor of Science degree is intended to prepare students for careers in the administration of justice. Three emphases are provided: (1) for students interested in entry-level employment in justice agencies; (2) for students interested in developing special competence that will prepare them to work with Hispanics in the justice system; and (3) for students interested in academic or research positions and who may seek graduate education before beginning employment.
For the B.S. degree in Administration of Justice, a minimum of 130 credits is required.
