FOUNDATIONS IN LETTERS, ARTS, AND SCIENCES I (CALAS1)

The new Foundations in Letters, Arts, and Sciences Certificate I is the first certificate in the Associate Degree is Letters, Arts, and Sciences (2LACA) Step-up Certificate Program series administered at Penn State Harrisburg. The Academic Home for the program is the School of Humanities at Penn State Harrisburg. This certificate program provides students with a broad introduction to the Liberal Arts. The program is a great entry certificate that includes 12 general education credits that meet the needs of students planning to pursue the associate degree and desiring milestones along the way. Students are encouraged to work with an adviser from the start of this first certificate program to ensure they meet all University requirements.

To earn an undergraduate certificate in FOUNDATIONS IN LETTERS, ARTS, AND SCIENCES I, a minimum of 12 credits is required.
