EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION (ERLYCH)

This certificate is designed to allow people interested in the field of child care to gain pertinent knowledge and professional development. The program emphasizes work with infants, toddlers and young children, as well as parent/family communications. Developmentally appropriate activities in various learning areas and practical guidance techniques will be addressed. Required courses: HD FS 229, HD FS 230 and HD FS 231 Professional Electives (select 6 credits): HDFS 129, HDFS 232, HDFS, 233, HDFS 234, HDFS 301, HDFS 311, or HDFS 330

To earn an undergraduate certificate in EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION, a minimum of 15 credits is required.
