WEB PROGRAMMING (WEBPRG)

Learn how to build your own database and Web server. This certificate program can show you how to develop advanced Web applications in free open-source software. Learn how to build pages, manipulate data, set up databases, retrieve, display, and modify information. Other topics such as debugging, components, and configuration needed to build complete Web-based applications, are also covered. You will also learn core elements of SQL Server and obtain required programming skills.

To earn an undergraduate certificate in WEB PROGRAMMING, a minimum of 12 credits is required.

Creating Web Pages with HTML and JavaScript (3 cr) Creating web pages withHTML and JavaScript. CMPSC 297X Introduction to Web Programming (3 cr) Prereq: Creating Web Pages with HTML and JavaScript. CMPSC 397X Intermediate Programming for the Web (3 cr) this course teaches you the fundamentals of ASP.NET: It also teaches data manipulation techniques. Lastly but not the least, the larger topics, such as debugging, components, and configuration needed to build complete Web-based applications, are also covered. Prerequisite: Introduction to Programming for the Web. CMPSC 397X Advanced Programming for the Web (3 cr) The over goal of this course is designed to teach you all the core elements of SQL Server.
