HIST 491 (IL) British Civil Wars and Revolutions, 1639-1651 (3) This is an advanced course on the history of the general crisis in the British Isles, from the outbreak of war between England and Scotland in 1639 to the securing of the Commonwealth regime following the desstruction of the last major royalist army in 1651.
