WF ED 498A Occupational Safety and Health for Workplace Professionals (3) This five-day, 3-credit course can help you acquire the knowledge and skills you need to support a workplace free of occupational safety and health hazards. The curriculum meets requirements for OSHA-30 General Industry Safety and CPR and AED Training, as well as the safety elements of the approved program evaluation (PA 339 review) facilitated by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Topics to be covered include: OSHA standards and inspections; worker rights and employer responsibilities; management of safety and health; hazard communication; inudstrial hygiene and blood-borne pathogens; ergonomics.
